Sandeep’s father refuses to meet Kerala CM

BANGALORE: Faced with criticism over the delay in showing respect to slain National Security Guards commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Sunday called on the soldier’s family members here, but an upset Major Sandeep’s father declined to accept his condolences. Accompanied by Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Mr. Achuthanandan rushed to the city on Sunday evening. — PTI
