Candlelight vigil

BANGALORE: Members of the Janata Dal (United) held a candlelight vigil here on Monday and expressed their solidarity with the families of the victims of Mumbai terror attack.
The members gathered at the Mysore Bank Circle on Kempe Gowda Road and displayed the portraits of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, ATS Chief Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar, Ashok Kamte, NSG commando Havildar Gajendra Singh who died fighting the terrorists.
“We will salute the brave officers and we will express our solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in the terror attacks in Mumbai. The Union Government should take action against the terror elements,” they said.
