Eli Lilly files suit against two Indian cos.


NEW DELHI: U.S.-based pharma giant Eli Lilly and Company has filed a case against Aurobindo Pharma and Lupin, alleging infringement of patent of its anti-depressant drug Cymbalta. The drug, whose patent will expire on June 2013, has a total global sales of around $2 billion in Eli Lilly’s portfolio.
