Big win for U.P.

KOLKATA: Uttar Pradesh won the C.K. Nayudu Trophy pre-quarterfinal cricket match against Tamil Nadu by 10 wickets here on Wednesday.

The scores: TN 226 and 289 (Gopinath 32, K. Sriram 45, M. Prabhu 43; Abhishek Panday five for 50, Md. Numan three for 68) lost to U.P. 477 (Amit Singh 167) and 43 for no loss.
