Maradona to conduct clinic

KOLKATA: Diego Maradona will be spending the afternoon of his trip’s second and final day (December 6) here in a clinic hosted by Mohun Bagan for sub-junior footballers.

The iconic Argentine would offer tips to some of the under-12 boys selected from the Mohun Bagan Academy.

“He (Maradona) wanted to have a clinic with the kids in the original agreement of his visit. So, we selected Mohun Bagan, which is the oldest soccer club in the continent,” said a spokesperson for the organiser of the India trip. — Principal Correspondent
