VISAKHAPATNAM: For the people living with HIV/AIDS, it was a pleasant experience. In fact, they had fun right from the word go and later had a sumptuous lunch with doctors and officials at a get-together arranged for them on Wednesday by an NGO. Though 50 people living with HIV/AIDS were invited, about 75 turned up and had fun at the games and cultural programmes conducted at a community hall at Ram Nagar in connection with World AIDS Day. The programme was organised by Green Vision, a local NGO. . District Medical and Health Officer J. Sarojini, Additional DMHO (AIDS) P. Rajendra Prasad, Nodal Officer of Anti-Retroviral Therapy unit at KGH, Krishna Murthy, Medical Officer Lakshmi Narasimha Rao were present.
