Collector moots special schemes for differently abled

SANGAREDDY: District Collector Peeyush Kumar on Wednesday said that the administration has been contemplating launch of new schemes that would be helpful to the disabled.
“On the lines of women groups, these schemes will be helpful to the disabled persons. Two mandals will be selected to work on it on pilot basis with the assistance of Indira Kranti Patham (IKP),” he said while addressing the meeting of ‘World Disabled Day’ held at Narayanakhed. He also called upon the disabled people to be confident and lead a better life.
District Disabled Welfare officer Yousuf Ali, Rajiv Vidya Mission project director P. Bhaktar and others participated in the programme.
