Thrissur: The police on Wednesday night arrested four persons involved in many cases, including theft and murder. P. Rajeev, Nellikkad (23); P. Vibeesh, Chavakkad (28); T. Suryan, Kanimagalam (23); and P. Vinod, Choolissery (29) were arrested by the East Police. Bomb seizedOn Thursday, the police arrested five persons, who allegedly attacked the house of Parappurathu Krishnan in Muriyad. Rajeesh, 25; Jenson, 18; Rajesh, 23; Pradeep, 28; and Sajeev, 28 were arrested from Anandapuram. Two members of the group fled the scene. The police said the attack on Krishnan’s house was the outcome of rivalry between two groups. The attack was aimed at Krishnan’s grand-son Kannan. The police recovered a sword and three country-made bombs from the house of one of Kannan’s accomplices.
