SAI ‘D’ prevails over BSNL

BANGALORE: SAI ‘D’ prevailed 3-2 over BSNL in the Karnataka State Hockey Association’s ‘B’ division league championship on Thursday.Earlier, Synergy Sports drew 2-2 with Maratha Light Infantry.

The results: SAI ‘D’ 3 (K.S. Iyappa, Ramesh, Pradeep Mario) bt BSNL (Bepari-2). Synergy Sports 2 (Sachin, Roshan) drew with Maratha Light Infantry 2 (Irfan, Ganesh Patil).

Badminton tournament

Bangalore South District Badminton Association and Bangalore City Institute will jointly conduct a three-star State-ranking championship at BCI courts here from Dec. 20 to 26. Entries close on Dec. 15. For details, contact KBA, Jasma Bhavan Road, Bangalore.

Amateur body-building

St. Mary’s posts win

St. Mary’s High School defeated MR Sakhare English Medium School in a Group ‘A’ league match of the KSCA under-16 inter-school cricket tournament in Hubli on Thursday.

The scores: MR Sakhare School 138 in 27.1 overs (Naryan 35 n.o.) lost to St. Mary’s HS 139 for three in 28.2 overs (N. Sharath 45).
