100 crores to be distributed as loans
MACHILIPATNAM: District Collector N. Sridhar on Thursday asked bankers to gear up for distribution of linkage loans of a total value of Rs.100 crores to self-help groups on December 19 on the occasion of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s visit to the district.
Addressing a meeting with assistant general managers of various banks, Mr. Sridhar said that the Indira Kranthi Patham (IKP)’s regional meeting of four districts would be held in Krishna district as part of the Chief Minister’s tour. Bankers must coordinate with IKP officials and also those of District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs) to ground the distribution of linkage loans of Rs.100 crores.
