GURGAON: Srikar Alla set up a title clash with the second-seeded Kaza Vinayak Sharma in the boys’ section of the ITF Grade IV junior tennis tournament at the NTA Complex here on Thursday. In the girls’ section, Prerna Bhambri continued her fine run and overtook the fourth-seeded Valentina Starkova of Kazakhstan in a tough three-setter for a place in the final. The Delhi girl will face the second-seeded Melis Sezer of Turkey in the title round on Friday. In the girls’ doubles semifinals, Rishika Sunkara and Adnya Naik fought their way past the second-seeded Shweta Chandra Rana and Ankita Raina 10-8 in the super tie-break. The results (semifinals): Boys (U-18): Srikar Alla bt Vishvesh Sinha 6-3, 6-4; Kaza Vinayak Sharma bt Shahbaaz Khan 6-4, 6-2. Doubles: S.V. Abhishek and Shahbaaz Khan bt Ruslan Miroshnichenkov and Anton Korchevskyy (Ukr) 6-3, 6-4. Naveen Sai and N. Sai Kartik bt Eran Hecht and Semion Branzberg (Isr) 7-6(3), 6-3.
