Leaders review arrangements To visit two villages in the district SANGAREDDY: Praja Rajya (PR) president Chiranjeevi will be visiting Medak district on December 6, the death anniversary day of B.R. Ambedkar. He will take part in community lunch at Kokkonda and Singannaguda in Mulugu mandal along the Rajvi Rahadari. According to party district in-charge K. Vinaya Kumar, Chiranjeevi was expected to arrive between 11 a.m. and1 p.m. Arrangements are being made to accommodate a large number of people in the programme. In view of the Andhra Pradesh High Court ruling on road shows, the PR chose to meet the people at villages. This is the first programme being taken up by Chiranjeevi after the High Court observation. Since Tuesday, senior leader Ch. Harirama Jogaiah, accompanied by other leaders visited different areas in the district and reviewed the arrangements for Chiranjeevi’s visit. The two villages were selected as they are dominated by SCs, STs and BCs. Former Chief Minister and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu initiated his prestigious Janma Bhoomi programme from the district and this was the place from where Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, while in opposition, examined the works taken up under Janma Bhoomi. However, the visit of Chiranjeevi was kept as a top secret . “We do not know why we are not taken into confidence,” said a party leader who did not want to be quoted.
