Health camp
The allocation of funds for health and medicare was insufficient. Doctors and paramedical staff in Government Hospitals should be proportional to the population it is catering to, said Indian Medical Association national office-bearer G. Samaram. He was inaugurating a free multi-specialty health camp conducted by Indian Red Cross Society at Vambay Colony.
Specialists A. Sridhar Reddy, Singari Prabhakar, K. Sivaramakrishna, K.Chakravarti, C.S.R.K Prasada Rao, doctors Jyotsna, Purushottam, Swaytha and Sireesh examined 1,500 patients. Medicines worth Rs. 60,000 were given to patients free of cost.
