IUML plans stir against ‘upsetting’ of quota norms

Staff Reporter

MALAPPURAM: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty has called upon all Muslim organisations to support the party’s agitation against the alleged attempts to upset reservation norms in the State’s appointments.

‘Anti-minority’

Inaugurating a meeting of the Muslim Youth League district council here on Saturday, Mr. Kunhalikutty said that Muslim organisations should be vigilant against the anti-minority agenda of the government led by V.S. Achuthanandan.

Youth League district president P.A. Salam presided over the function.

IUML State secretary K.P.A. Majeed; Youth League State president K.M. Shaji; general secretary N. Shamsuddeen; and C.P. Saidalavi were among those who addressed the meeting.
