‘Black day’ peaceful

ADILABAD: The bandh called by various Muslim organisations on Saturday to observe ‘black day’ was partial and peaceful in the communally sensitive towns in Adilabad district. Police foiled the effort of MIM activists to take out a rally in Adilabad town by appealing them to drop the rally plan as prohibitory orders were in force.

Some shops in Bhainsa and Nirmal were closed. — Staff Reporter
