Feel of Gujarat at handicrafts exhibition

THALASSERY: An exhibition of handicrafts and handloom products from Gujarat and other States showcases an array of products reflecting the craftsmanship of artisans and weavers.
The exhibition, which began here at the Saradha Krishna Iyer Auditorium here on November 30, has handicrafts, handloom dress materials and jewellery from Gujarat and eight other States.
A government rebate of 20 per cent for handloom items and 10 per cent for handicrafts products was being offered, the organisers said.
The exhibition, held under the auspices of the Gujarat Emporium and sponsored by the Gujarat State Handloom, Handicrafts and Industrial Co-operative Federation, will conclude on December 14.
