“PMK will decide on alliance in February”

Special Correspondent

VILLUPURAM: The executive committee and the general body of the Pattali Makkal Katchi will meet in February to decide on the alliance for the coming Lok Sabha elections, according to S. Ramadoss, party founder.

He was responding to a query from presspersons on the possibility of the PMK forging an alliance with other political parties in the wake of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam reaching an understanding with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). Addressing a press conference at Thailaupuram near here on Saturday, Dr. Ramadoss reiterated the point that his party was of the view that the Congress should lead an alliance in Tamil Nadu.
