Dangerous crossings

Of late, crossing MG Road, especially in front of the Secretariat, has become risky. Even when the traffic signal is in favour of pedestrians, vehicles including KSRTC buses do not stop at the zebra crossings. This creates so much inconvenience to the public and could cause accidents. The authorities concerned should seriously look into the matter and do the needful urgently.

No stop

KSRTC buses based at the Thampanoor bus station do not have a stop between Bakery Junction and PMG Junction. As a result, the commuters, office-goers in particular, have to get down either at Bakery Junction or at PMG Junction and walk to Palayam to get a connection bus to Statue. The authorities should consider allowing a stop for these buses in front of Public Library.
