“Reduce fuel prices”

The Federation of Consumer and Service Organisations has urged the Centre to reduce the prices of fuel commensurate with the fall in the price of crude oil in the international market. The current decision on reduction per litre by Rs.5 and Rs.2 for petrol and diesel respectively was meagre and against people, the convenor of the Federation M. Sekaran said in a statement. The Federation has urged the Centre to take steps to reduce the price of engine oil and commercial gas.
