Harnessing solar energy

Nuetech commands a rich heritage in the non-conventional energy industry having started when the solar thermal business was just emerging. They have been one of the frontrunners having started ion 1988.Four young and technically qualified entrepreneurs got together to start the production of a portable, fuel-saving variety of wood-burning cookstove, called Improved portable Chulha. This product had been designed by the Central Power Research Institute at Bangalore, and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) of the Government of India had recognized it and implemented it at the grassroots level under an exclusive National Programme of Improved Chulhas (NPIC), with an offer of 75% subsidy to the beneficiaries. Till 1992, the firm delivered a good number of these cookstoves in south India under the brand name Nucifera and notched considerable growth at its very start.

The management spotted a sunrise industry in the solar energy sector..Nuetech Systems was started in in 1992, leveraging thecompany’s expertise in non-conventional energy which was a logical transition.

Exciting Evolution

From Chulha to Flat Plate to Evacuated Tube to BOOT & CDM, Nuetech has come a long way.
