Science fair opens in Medak

SANGAREDDY: Three-day district education and science fair was inaugurated here on Wednesday at Karuna High School by Zilla Parishad Chairman M. Balaiah.

Addressing the students, Mr. Balaiah said that these exhibitions would be helpful for students to get a clear understanding of science in day-to-day life.

Superintendent of Police Mohd. Iqbal said that students need scientific temper and sportive spirit to reach new heights in life or career.

“Fairs like this will give a different perspective to students, which is required for their future. This would also inculcate the nature of questioning,” he said.

District Education Officer Gopal Reddy presided over the programme . DIET principal Pratap Reddy, MLC Bhoopal Reddy also participated. Osamannagar Sarpanch D. Rammohan Reddy arranged food for the students for the three days.
