52% pass in SSLC equivalent exam

KOZHIKODE: Kozhikode district has registered a pass percentage of 52 per cent in the second batch of the SSLC equivalent examination conducted by the Literacy Mission.

As many as 565 persons had appeared for the examination. Of these, 105 earned first class and 122 second class pass.

More than 1,706 persons have registered for the third batch of the SSLC equivalent examination, District Literacy Mission sources said. Classes are being held in different centres for the neo-literates. For the class IV equivalent examination, 866 persons have registered their names while for the class VII equivalent examination, 953 persons have registered.
