Theatre fest

Chitradurga: To mark the 52nd Kannada Rajyotsava as well as the grant of classical language status for Kannada, various organisations together are holding a four-day theatre festival here from Thursday. The plays will be staged by repertories Jamura Suttata and Neenasam Tirugata at SJM Hall from Thursday to Sunday. On Thursday, Jamura Suttata will present the play ‘Kayakayogi Sri Tipperudraswamy’ directed by Mahadev Hadapad.

The next day, the play titled ‘Hanchina Mane Parasappa,’ will be staged. On Saturday, Neenasam will present a play titled ‘Swayamvara Loka’, directed by N.V. Srikant.
