Selected for national meet

P. Harischandra Prasad (feather weight), Surendra Gope (light wt.) and D. Suresh (light heavy) who won the gold medals at the 26th State sub-junior inter-district taekwondo championships at Kakinada recently have been selected to participate in the 26th national meet to be held in Lucknow from Dec. 19 to 21, according to joint secretary of AP Taekwondo Association P. Atchuta Reddy.

Vizag girls also bagged three silver medals in Kakinada meet through VR Sirisha, Sujatha Thapa and T. Tejasri. Their team members M. Nageswara Rao and Pradeepta Baarik among boys and V. Bhargavi in girls section also won bronze medals.
