The questions raised by V.R. Krishna Iyer are genuine (Op-Ed. December 12). How right he is in asking to whom does India belong! A cricket Test needs 5,000 guards, but our public places hardly get 10 to 30 guards. Abdul Muqhtadir, Manvi I too feel that the media breached every rule of journalistic ethics while covering the Mumbai attacks. It is ironical that there was continuous coverage of the trauma of the Taj Palace victims but not much time was spared for those who lost their lives at the Chhatrapati Shivaji railway terminal. Shahnaz Mohamed Thahir, Edappally The airport, as an icon of the rich, gets sufficient security measures. Not so for railway stations, the common man’s transport portal.
