>>The tenth paragraph in an article “Pakistan and the Lashkar’s jihad in India” (Editorial page, December 9, 2008) said that he [Kashmir jihad veteran so far known only by code-names, ‘Muzammil,’ ‘Yusuf’ and ‘Abu Hurrera’] put together a June 2004 plot to use fidayeen to assassinate the then Union Home Minister, L.K. Advani. The UPA Government was formed on May 22, 2004, so Mr. Advani was only the Leader of the Opposition.

>>The eighth paragraph of a football report “Churchill Brothers books semifinal berth” (“Sport”, December 11, 2008) said that [Mohd.] Sporting surged into the lead off a brilliant freekick by Steven Dias (18th minute). Dias plays for Mahindra United.
