BMS appeal
Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has urged the Collector to instruct the officials concerned to take steps for prevention of accidents on the road between the Convent Junction and Scindia Junction owing to wet potash that falls during transportation. In a representation, district vice-president M. Jagadeeswara Rao and deputy general secretary I. Mutyalu said thousands of workers of various industrial units and the Navy use the road and as many as eight workers of the shipyard met with accidents. They wanted the Collector to take up the issue with Port management, the contractor collecting the toll fee and the Traffic police.
