Train runs over six near Hi-Tech City

HYDERABAD: Six persons were killed after they were run over by a train near the Hi-Tech City railway station on Sunday morning.

The victims, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, were crossing the tracks towards Borabanda when the train coming from Hi-Tech City railway station hit them, the railway police said.

An MMTS train driver first noticed two bodies on the tracks and alerted the Hyderabad station master who informed the police.

Initially, police felt that only two persons were killed in the incident, but four more bodies were found near the tracks.

The victims were, aged between 20 and 30.
