Tharoor to deliver lecture

KOCHI: The Fedbank Hormis Memorial Foundation’s tenth Commemorative Lecture will be delivered by Shashi Tharoor, former Under-Secretary-General, United Nations, here on Tuesday. He will speak on ‘The Global Financial Crisis and India’s Incomplete Transformation’, at the Le Meridien Convention Centre. The Foundation was established in memory of the founder of the Federal Bank, late K.P .H ormis in 1996. The previous speakers included persons like P. Chidambaram, M. M. Jacob, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, V. Kurien, N. R. Narayana Murthy, Arun Jaitley and M. Damodaran.
