Congress to form human chain

SANGAREDDY: District Congress Committee (DCC) will form a human chain on December 28 in Medak district. Party leaders at all levels would participate in the programme.

This was decided at the DCC meeting held here on Sunday. It was also decided to hold welfare celebrations from January 2 to 15, 2009. During the programme the party leaders would meet the beneficiaries who got benefited by different schemes of the government such as houses, pensions and Arogya Sri and explain to them how the Congress government has been thriving to serve the poor and needy. The party leaders would try their best to send the message among the people on the need of electing the Congress party in the next general elections.MLAs Suresh Shetkar, P Shashidhar Reddy, MLC Bhupal Reddy, DCC secretary D Rammohan Reddy participated.
