Lavinashree commended

Chennai: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi greeted eight-year-old M. Lavinashree, who is featured in the Limca Book of Records for her memory skills, at the Secretariat on Sunday.

Lavinashree won a place in the Limca Book for the recitation of 1,330 couplets of Thirukkural. Mr. Karunanidhi met the girl and her family and commended her skills. Lavinashree, who lives in Madurai, is also believed to be the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional. She is also good at animation techniques and can work with Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, a press release said.
