Laura Bush lauds Purandeswari

HYDERABAD: Laura Bush, the US First Lady, has praised Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development D. Purandeswari for her ‘dedication to literacy and her remarks made at the White House symposium on advancing global literacy’ recently.

In a letter to the Minister, she stated: ‘I urge you to join me in redoubling our efforts to advance global literacy. We can help build the foundation of freedom and success for all’.
