Mystery shrouds woman’s death
Srilaxmi, 21, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her house in Neredmet on Sunday. Relatives alleged that her husband, Sridhar, had strangled her to death after she refused to bring additional dowry.
Contractor killed in accident
A contractor was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was run over by a speeding lorry at Gaganpahad in Rajendranagar on Monday. Mukesh, 28, was a resident of Barkatpura, according to the police.
Girl drowns in nala
A three-year-old girl Kalyani, who was walking on the slab of a nala holding her mother’s hand died after accidentally slipping into it, at Nimrah colony in Chatrinaka of old city on Monday.
The girl’s mother Nagamani jumped into the nala, but could not trace her daughter.
