Mahato of South Eastern Railway and Neeta Tilore and Varsha Mangulkar both from Central Railway won two gold medals each on the first day of the 17th Railway Protection Force all-India athletic meet at the Railway stadium here on Tuesday. The results (winners only): Men: 100m: Anbu (Southern, 10.62 secs); 400m: D.S. Rao (South Eastern, 55.90s); 1500m: B.K. Mahato (SER, 4:39.69); 10,000m: Mohato (35.14); High jump: Joffin Jose (SR, 1.73 M); Javelin throw: K. Arul Kumar (SR, 53.40 M); shotput: E. Joseph Kirubakaran (SR, 12.07m). Women: 100m: Varsha Mangulkar (CR, 15s); 400m: Neeta Tilore; 1500m: Neeta (6:20.04); High jump: Sarika Mishra (1.15m); Javalin throw: Gayatri (22.35m): Shotput: Varsa (7.85m).
