Jaitley sees it as debt repayment

NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary alleged on Tuesday that the cash-for-votes parliamentary committee arrived at its conclusions on the basis of parliamentary majority, than the material facts of the case.

“Verdict of guilty or certifications of innocence have been given on the basis of parliamentary majority. The government has repaid the debt it owed to the Samajwadi Party for its support during the trust vote,” Mr. Jaitley said.
