Suicide attempt: boy dies

Kakinada: A 32-year-old woman, Uma, consumed poison along with her two children Sai Kumar (13) and Sai Ganesh (10) in their house at Valasapakala late on Wednesday night reportedly due to financial problems, when her husband Gowri Sankar was away on duty. Sai Kumar died before being taken to hospital.

Uma and Sai Ganesh are undergoing treatment in a private hospital at Bhanugudi Junction here.

The Kakinada rural police are investigating. Staff Reporter
