dated December 18, 1958: Chinese farm methods

Mr. Ramakrishna Reddi, the Minister for Food and Agriculture, said in New Delhi on December 17 that it is proposed to send two delegations to China to study the intensive agricultural system there so as to suggest ways of increasing agricultural production in this country. They will also study the irrigation and water conservancy projects adopted by Chinese farmers.
