Former I&PR official dead

Former journalist and Regional Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations, A. Vithal Rao, 74, died on Tuesday night in Hyderabad. He was a native of Brodipet in Guntur. His body was brought here on Wednesday evening. He worked in Krishna Patrika. He is survived by wife, three sons and a daughter. He was active in the Scouts and Guides and wrote the cover story for Upadhyaya Chaitanya, a monthly, for 15 years.
