Thiruvananthapuram: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) here is holding a national seminar on cyber security at Hotel Residency Towers on Friday. Inspector-General of Police Arun Kumar Sinha will speak on challenges to law enforcement. Nandakumar Saravade, General Manager, Financial Crime Prevention Department, ICCI Bank, will speak on cyber security issues confronting the financial sector. Kamalesh Bajaj, CEO, DSCI Nasscom, will speak on the challenges posed by cyber crime to business and enterprises. A.S.A Krishnan, director, DITI, will speak on the initiatives taken by the Union government to tackle cyber crime. V.K. Bhadran, Additional Director, C-DAC, will speak on the initiatives taken by the institution’s National Cyber Forensics Resources Centre. Deepak Maheswhari, director, Corporate Affairs, Microsoft India, will speak on creating partnerships for a secure cyber space. N. Vijayaditya will present a paper on digital signatures and security measures. Murali Talasila, director, Advisory Forensic Services, will speak on mitigating financial cyber frauds and crimes. Amarnath Raja, CEO, InApp Information Technologies (India), will speak on enhancing security with open source software.
