Patronage: A section of the audience at the revenue district schools youth festival at Government Higher Secondary School, Koduvally. Kozhikode: Popular event such as Mono-act, Mimicry, Kuchupudi and Oppana proved to be huge crowd pullers at different venues as the revenue district school kalotsavam entered its third day at the Government Higher Secondary School, Koduvally, in Kozhikode on Friday. The annual fest is being organised with massive support and participation from the local people. “Despite delays in starting several events and a few other organisational flips, the gala is getting noticed by the vast participation and support from the people here,” said a parent, who accompanied his son to the venue. Many events including Kuchupudi and Nadodi Nritham started hours behind schedule on Friday. Competition in Oppana in the UP School segment, which was scheduled to start by 9.30 a.m., commenced at 1.30 p.m., causing much troubles to the participants. Bharatanatyam (girls) and Mimicry (Boys and girls) were among the major crowd pullers of the day.
