Student ends life

VIZIANAGARAM: Chikati Syamala (17), intermediate student of Vasavi Junior College in Parvathipuram, committed suicide by consuming poison in the toilets of the college on Friday. She was rushed to a private nursing home where she was declared brought dead. Poor performance in the half-year examination was stated to be the reason for the extreme step, according to P. Ranganatham, Sub-Inspector. She is a native of Sitarampuram village in Garugubilli mandal and she shuttles between college and home every day. Correspondent
