No airspace violations by India: Fali Major
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal Fali Homi Major on Saturday denied Indian incursions into Pakistan’s airspace.
He also ruled out any attacks on terrorist training camps in that country.
Air Chief Marshal Major was responding to a spate of questions after reviewing the combined graduation parade at the Air Force Academy.
On the possibility of India launching air strikes in Pakistan, he said: “I am the Chief of Air Staff. I have no idea about it.”
Asked whether the LTTE air wing was a threat to India, he said it was “an irritant [and] not a threat.”
However, “we face threats across the entire spectrum of conflict.”
