It is sad to see the BJP communalising Mr. Antulay’s comments. The Minister has raised a well-founded suspicion that needs to be investigated thoroughly. He has nowhere ruled out the Pakistan angle to the terror attack. An investigation into the circumstances leading to Karkare’s death may throw light on the possible involvement of Dawood Ibrahim and others in the attacks.

Aftab Alam,

The elimination of Karkare and his deputies under questionable circumstances is a great loss to the nation. If Mr. Antulay has drawn the nation’s attention to the questionable circumstances, he has done no harm. He has raised a relevant question. The BJP’s virulent response to his remark is unwarranted.

Arif Ali,

New Delhi
