1,550 ryots for agricultural expo

Kakinada: The Agriculture Department is sending 1,550 farmers from the district to the Southern States’ Agricultural Expo getting under way at Hyderabad on Tuesday. Twenty five farmers have been selected from each mandal, according to a press release by the Joint Director of Agriculture T Nandaiah. The farmers will share the knowledge related to agriculture and allied sectors in addition to displaying various models. A sum of Rs 13 lakhs allocated for Agricultural Technology Management Agency project has been spent on the visit. Staff Reporter
