Land acquired for house sites

Bhimavaram: Tahasildar Ch. Srinivasa Rao has said that 82 acres of land has been acquired in the town with a view to providing house sites to some 7,000 persons. The allotment would be done on lottery basis. He said that two acres of land was acquired and distributed among 76 persons at Bethapudi village. Similary, some 105 persons were provided sites in Dirusumarru area. House sites would be given to the poor at Chinavegiram, Kovvada, Yanamadurru and Taderu villages in Bhimavaram mandal soon, he added.
