Anujuman Society condemns terror attacks

Karwar: Haji Liyakhat Dalal, president of the Haliyal taluk Anujuman Society, has condemned the recent terror attacks in Mumbai and said that there is no place for terrorism in Islam.

He told presspersons here on Tuesday that Islam had never encouraged terrorist activity. But people were viewing Islam with suspicion for such activities by a handful of people, he said.

He said the Anujuman Society would not allow anybody to challenge the unity of the country and disturb peace.
