All about getting into the Army

Thiruvananthapuram: Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode got an opportunity to clear their doubts about recruitment to the Army at a publicity campaign organised by the Army Recruiting Office on the school premises here on Tuesday.

About 100, Plus Two students attended a lecture by Col. M.S Bisht, Director of Recruitment, Thiruvananthapuram.

He explained various types of entries, eligibility criteria, pay and allowances and fringe benefits available to those selected to the Army.

He also fielded questions raised by the students.

A publicity park was put up at the school to provide information about recruitment to various posts.

A display board on recruitment was also put up on the school grounds.

Officials from the recruiting office were present to brief the students.
