Sukanya, Arpit cause a flutter

RAIPUR: Sukanya Bose of North Bengal and Arpit Bhopalkar of Railway Sports Promotion Board registered stunning results in the Central Zone ranking table tennis tournament here on Tuesday.

In the women’s section, Sukanya defeated the top-seeded Poulomi Ghatak of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board 11-7, 6-11, 7-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-7, 12-10.

Arpit defeated the ninth seed Raj Mondal of North Bengal 11-6, 11-13, 11-8, 12-10, 11-13, 8-11, 12-10.
