NEW DELHI: Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna on Tuesday released a book titled “Delhi-India in One City” brought out by the Academic Foundation in association with the Government of Delhi.

The coffee table book offers a comprehensive and rich overview of Delhi and has been conceptualised by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. While the text has been contributed by Malavika Singh, publisher of a monthly journal “Seminar”, the photo feature component has been composed by IPS officer Uday Sahay.

The book includes Ms. Dikshit’s reflections and has contributions by author William Dalrymple and Pavan K. Varma, a senior member of Indian Foreign Service.

Releasing the book, Mr. Khanna described it as a rainbow of Delhi’s life and sustainability.

Ms. Dikshit for her part expressed confidence that the book will be appreciated for its content.
