Held for chain snatching
NEW DELHI: Four young men allegedly involved in chain snatching cases have been arrested at New Friends Colony in South-East Delhi. On Sunday evening, Sunita was on her way home when three young men on a motorcycle snatched her purse on Mathura Road. She raised an alarm, hearing which Head Constable Manoj and Constable Narender rushed to the spot and overpowered the three with the help of a civilian named Rashid. The accused were identified Lakhan, Vikas and Shahid, all residents of Ali Vihar. The police claim to have recovered two stolen chains, some cash and other articles from them.
